Collembola Springtails are almost a necessity for any bioactive setup since they help your tank become self sufficient. They are a natural cleaning crew for excess mold and algae while creating fertilizer for your plants. Which makes maintaining and keeping your naturalistic setup smelling fresh while serving as a nutrient source for smaller animals like fish, dart frogs, geckos pretty much anything that calls your ecosystem home!!! SHIPPING WILL BE DONE MONDAY THRU THURSDAY BEFORE 4PM PDT FOR LIVE GUARANTEE!!! To exclude checkout cost-up HEAT/COLD PACK SOLD SEPARATELY FOR ADDITIONAL $5!!!  https://paypal.me/TheDartery?country.x=US&locale.x=en_US

CHARCOAL CULTURES—> Our handmade charcoal cultures are specially prepared, weighed, and monitored for over 5 weeks in a warm environment to provide a consistent all year supply of well matured cultures ensuring a quality culture until you decide what to do with them!! Can be used to seed multiple setups and can also allow for a constant supply of springtails…allow time to recover after seeding making sure not all are used and all are kept well fed!!

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE—> 16oz cup with an established culture of springtails using DISTILLED or RO WATER ONLY on Washed Lump Wood Charcoal (If delivered broken contact and we will figure it out)

CARE—> Typically can be fed nutritional yeast , small grains of rice or any other supplement to gut load for your desired animals…When feeding make sure not to over feed as Co2 levels will increase and can kill all springtails note that less is better but inside your bioactive environment they will thrive on mold and decaying matter perfectly fine!!...If making new cultures always use DISTILLED WATER or RO Water for less risk of contaminating your setup with chemicals from water treatment systems...charcoal, clay, or substrate can be used.
